Championship Playoffs

Championship playoffs perfectly balanced after goalless first legs

Norwich and Leeds, West Brom and Luton Town share goalless draws in.

Norwich City play Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion face Luton Town for places at Wembley.

The Championship play-offs are perfectly balanced after goalless first legs in both ties.

Norwich City and Leeds United played out a cagey draw at Carrow Road, with both sides having chances to win the game. The Canaries had the better of the first half, with Teemu Pukki and Kieran Dowell going close on several occasions. Leeds improved after the break, but they were unable to find a way past Tim Krul in the Norwich goal.

West Bromwich Albion and Luton Town also played out a goalless draw at The Hawthorns. The Baggies had the better of the chances, with Karlan Grant and Daryl Dike both going close. However, Luton defended resolutely and they will be confident of causing an upset in the second leg at Kenilworth Road.

The second legs of both ties will be played on Saturday, May 17. Norwich will host Leeds at Carrow Road, while West Brom will travel to Luton Town.

The winners of the two ties will meet at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 29, for a place in the Premier League.

The Championship play-offs are always a tense and exciting affair, and this year's competition is no different. With four evenly-matched teams involved, it is impossible to predict who will come out on top.
